Delivery



We endeavour to process all orders within one full working day, leaving six remaining working days for shipment and delivery to your chosen address. No guarantee can be made unless approved by a member of our Sales Team but where we have available stock of an item we will do our utmost to provide next day delivery of goods. Our standard shipment time is 1-7 working days, if you do require next day delivery please contact our Sales Team directly on 01772 45 99 44 for this service.


The majority of our products are supplied with free delivery or installation to most UK postcodes. Smaller products will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Products that weigh more than 2kg or classed as high value items will be delivered by one of our national couriers. Some products require installation by one of our Mobility Technicians to ensure that you gain the maximum benefit from your product(s). Where this is the case delivery will be actioned by a Betterlife employee, e.g. large mobility scooters, riser/recliner chairs or electric beds. Technician deliveries typically take up to 7-10 working days. It is the customers responsibility to ensure clear access for delivery with all necessary provisions being made before delivery takes place. Betterlifehealthcare Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage incurred due to inadequate access.


Returns & Exchanges



NOTE: Your statutory rights are not affected in any way



In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR’s) BetterlifeHealthcare.com gives customers a 7 day "cooling off" period in which orders can be cancelled after the delivery date. Upon receipt of the goods, if you require to return or exchange the product(s) you will be personally responsible for return delivery incurring any delivery cost but will receive a full refund for the product purchased providing the goods are in a re-saleable condition. We do recommend that you pay for a tracked/signed delivery for your protection. If you would like to return or exchange your products please contact Customer Services on 01772 644 288, Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm for a Credit Reference Number. If you are unable to return the product to us we can provide this service for you at various fees depending on type of product(s) you are returning.


Please note that products returned without a clearly identified Credit Reference Number will be shipped back to the customer. Returned product(s) must be complete, unused, in an undamaged state and returned in their original outer packaging. If products are not in a re-saleable condition on return Betterlifehealthcare Ltd reserves the right to charge for repair, replacement or repackaging of any products not returned in their original condition. This charge may include the cost of parts, materials, packaging, labour and any subsequent loss to Betterlifehealthcare Ltd.


All refunds will be processed within 30 days after receipt of goods.



Payment



Betterlifehealthcare.com accepts payments either on-line via Debit or Credit Cards, through cheque, postal order, fax, over the telephone or by E-procurement email. All orders are processed by our Sales Advisors who are fully compliant with both Data Protection and Computer Misuse Acts. All orders outside the UK mainland will be subject to a postage and package charge, which will be informed to the customer prior to the shipment of goods.


All personal information gathered is for the sole purpose of processing customer orders and is not passed to any other party.


Betterlifehealthcare.com accepts the following Credit and Debit Card payment methods:


Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Solo, JCB, American Express, Delta and Visa Electron


Where cheques are used for payment they should be made payable to Betterlifehealthcare Ltd. Please allow three working days from the date of receipt to enable the cheque to clear before the shipment of goods.



VAT Exemption



Individuals who are chronically sick or disabled and whose products are for personal use along with all charities where the products are made available to a disabled person for their own personal or domestic use, may be eligible for VAT exemption.


The majority of Betterlifehealthcare.com prices include delivery charges and do not include VAT (unless otherwise clearly stated). Provided the VAT Exempt checkboxes are ticked along with stating the condition whist checking out your order VAT will not be added unless a particular product has compulsory VAT. Orders which are received without ticked exemption will incur the VAT charge, which will be highlighted clearly to you through our shopping calculator. Guarantee



The majority of our products are guaranteed for twelve months by the manufacturer. However, some products are guaranteed for longer e.g. Rise and Recline Chairs, Bath Lifts etc. Our warranty does not cover items used outside of Mainland UK and does not include the reimbursement for the hire of a replacement product. Items purchased outside of the mainland UK will be subject to a return to base warranty at the customers cost.
